Role Summary

The purpose of the maintenance manager role is to ensure optimal plant availability, reliability, and performance by developing maintenance policies, managing resources, and overseeing budgets and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carries out scheduled maintenance examinations and fixes, cleans and align diverse systems to guarantee appropriate system operations

• Change faulty motors, compressors, coil units, expansion valves and other constituent parts

• Repair or organize repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities

• Respond to various maintenance requests

• Make recommendations and requests for new maintenance products and equipment as necessary

• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other duties as assigned

• Monitoring and maintaining an adequate inventory of building supplies, tools, and safety equipment

• Ensure that work materials are present when needed

• Provide recommendations to building management for repair or replacement of equipment, furnishings where they may pose a safety concern or cause property damage

• Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance spare parts, consumables, tools, and critical components

• Create purchase requisitions or purchase orders for maintenance parts and consumables as required

• Perform regular cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• Education & Qualifications: Diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrician, or a related trade is preferred

• Work Experience: 3 years of experience of industry or 2 years of experience working in maintenance

• Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken local language. English B1 required, English B2 is a benefit.

• Technical Skills: Computer skills (M365), process understanding

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining and repairing production equipment, including CNC machinery, glass processing equipment, conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power tools
